Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for bookings made through AIRLUX. We act as an intermediary between you and the airline; airline rules and fare conditions apply to your ticket.
Airline ticket refunds
Whether you can get a refund for your flight depends on the fare rules of the airline and the ticket you purchased. Refundable fares may be refunded in full or in part according to the carrier’s policy. Non-refundable fares typically do not qualify for a cash refund but may allow credit or rebooking under the airline’s terms. We will process refund requests in line with the applicable fare rules and the airline’s approval. Refunds, when approved by the airline, are usually processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
Service fees
Any service or booking fee charged by AIRLUX may be refundable in certain circumstances (for example, if we cancel the booking or if the airline cancels the flight and we do not rebook). If the cancellation is due to the customer’s choice and the fare is non-refundable, our service fee may not be refunded. We will confirm the applicability of any fee refund when you request a cancellation.
Cancellation timeline
To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel before the airline’s deadline (which varies by fare and carrier), you may be eligible for a refund or credit under the fare rules. Cancellations requested after departure or after the airline’s cutoff may not be eligible for refund. We will explain your options based on your specific booking.
